The West Hawk Lake Sailing Centre is a non-profit, member funded organization with the expressed goal of supporting and growing the sport of sailing and recreation in the West Hawk Lake community and surrounding areas. This is achieved through programming such as youth & adult sailing schools, weekend racing, regattas, paddling, yoga, fitness classes and BOOT Camps.

Congratulations to our $100 Nite Hawk gift certificate winner Ryan Zarychanski receiving his GC from owner Sharon Morrison.

Sail Canada & Sail Manitoba are promoting Let’s Go Sailing day across the country Saturday, July 31, 2021

Get your sailboat out for that day, you could even “dress up” your sailboat if you like, take your best picture(s) and post it on Facebook, Instagram, etc. for a chance to win a $100 gift certificate to the Nite Hawk Café!

South Whiteshell Women’s Sailing League 

Calling all women interested in sailing!

Interested in learning to sail but not sure where to start? Already taken some lessons and wondering how to improve your skills? Looking for a reason to get social and meet other women in the South Whiteshell region? If you answered ‘yes’ to any of the above, then we have the program for you.

This summer, the Falcon and West Hawk Lake Sailing Clubs plan to launch a new joint program targeted at women and girls of all ages who have limited to no prior sailing experience. The program will offer an opportunity to learn to sail and race a small sailboat on Falcon Lake. To sustain and build on newly learned skills, we plan to offer training workshops, mentorship opportunities, and a sailing league dedicated to program participants. Mothers, daughters, and grandmothers can sail together for safe recreational fun on our beautiful lake in our fabulous provincial park.

We are still finalizing the details of the program offering, and we would like to ask for your help in making sure that we offer the program that you are looking for!
